Its been a long winter , time to freshen up with some “natural” glow. Todays look was aided slightly with a little sun kiss using Fake Bake sunless tanning spray. With all the dark winter day and nights without a little help I start to look so white that I’m clear! Seriously though Fake Bake is a wonderful product. I apply it in the morning and go about my business, it dries quickly. Before I go to bed I shower to wash off the excess tanner. The first use leaves a subtle color. For winter time that’s what I prefer. With the sun staying out later and the snow melting it is time to add a couple more coats of tanner. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I will achieve a nice summer tan to maintain.
After a couple hours of letting the tan set it was time to begin the “natural” glow look. I wanted a little shimmer so I began with the MAC Strobe Cream under my NARS foundation. The Maybelline Illuminateur was only used under my eyes to cover the dark tired circles. For added glow a dab of Make-up Revolution starlight liquid highlighter was blended on the cheekbones.
Keeping it simple I used Lorac propallete shade cream and champagne on my lids only. On the crease I added some taupe slightly blending it into the cream. Today there is no black liner. Not even a little. To give my eyes a very light definition I used the Lorac shadow in sable. I didn’t want anything to deep. Another item missing for todays look are false lashes. I only applied a couple coats of Maybelline pumped up mascara. Since I only placed the cream shadow on my lids the BECCA opal highlighter added a little more shine to the arch of my brow bone.
For a more natural brow I used the Anastasia dipbrow to fill them in not shaping. This gives a softer , less purposeful look. For contouring I combined the Benefit Hoola and Hoola lite brushed along my cheeks and over the temples just barely touching my forehead. Again I’m going for a less purposeful look with each product. To give a little color the cream highlighter from LAQA & CO in peacher’s daughter was perfect. A little dab will do ya on the apples of the cheeks. I also dabbed a little on my lips .
No red lips today. Keeping it neutral. On top of the cream highlighter on my lips I shaped them and filled them in using the Rimmel 1000 kisses in wild clover. Using it over the highlighter gives a creamy sheen to the liner. With that the “natural” glow is complete and ready for spring.
TIME TO LET MY HAIR DOWN! I’ll see you tomorrow for a very festive look with a little “coaching” from one of my favorite Youtuber’s video’s!
